According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Fitness and health workers lead, instruct, and motivate individuals or groups in exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and stretching. A degree in fitness or health will allow the graduates to find jobs in places like health clubs, gyms, country clubs, hospitals, yoga and Pilates studios, or resorts. The coursework for these programs will cover subjects from community health to exercise science.
