Ozarka Spring Water recently awarded students studying environment and earth sciences $27,500 in scholarship money. David Feckley, the company's natural resource manager, says "Ozarka is committed to environmental leadership and innovation," and that education in this field is "critically important for the future."
Individuals who would like to study environmental or earth science may also find that this industry provides decent salaries. According to Payscale.com, both geologists and hydrologists who were working in 2008 made more than $71,000 per year.
