Current professionals who are looking to advance their education without having to put their careers on hold can benefit from enrolling in web-based masters programs. Interested individuals can take advantage of a flexible curriculum, which allows them to complete their studies at their own pace while still working full-time.
CollegeAmerica, a postsecondary degree provider, has announced that six new masters degree programs will now be available at Stevens-Henager College, an affiliate of the academic institution. School officials report that students who take advantage of the new offerings will be able to complete their studies within 15 months.
CollegeAmerica and Stevens hope to contribute to expanding the number of programs available to those who have already began their careers and wish to improve their professional value. Currently, the Wyoming-based college offers graduate studies in business administration, healthcare administration, nursing administration and nursing education.
In addition to these new programs, the school will provide financial aid services, which will help students apply for loans and grants in order to lower the cost of their education.
Currently, more than 3.5 million people in the U.S. are enrolled in web-based courses or pursuing an online degree, according to the U.S. Distance Learning Association.
