Battizer, a manufacturer of money-saving energy products, announced this week the launching of a full-charge capacity alkaline battery charger. This new invention is the first of its kind and fully charges old batteries and may exceed the original capacity of a new battery.
According to the company, the product charges multiple types of AA and AAA batteries, including zinc carbon, alkaline, NiMh and NiCD, in one hour. The charger also has a built-in chip that monitors the process and plugs into household outlets.
The production of the full-charge capacity alkaline battery charger may open up more job opportunities as well as help consumers save more money in the future.
In 2008, about 301,000 electrical engineers were employed and averaged annual wages of $85,350 per year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Professionals with green design skills are going to be in particular demand in the coming years.
