Students who wish to further their education, but are faced with the challenge of paying for school, can benefit from enrolling in associate degree programs. These educational options allow individuals to learn skills used in various career fields without the burden of high cost tuition.
High-Tech Institute in Orlando has announced that beginning this August, it will offer three new associate degree programs, specializing in paralegal studies, computer networking and security as well as business management.
Students who enroll in the paralegal program will take courses in civil law and litigation, criminal law and adversarial process, family law and property, transactional law, business law, estate planning and administrative law. Upon completion of this degree, individuals will be prepared to work in law firms with industry professionals.
The computer networking and security program will guide students through computer maintenance and repair, and prepare future degree holders to work with company hardware and software components. Computer programs by Linux, Microsoft and Cisco will be used throughout the program's curriculum.
Meanwhile, individuals who pursue the business management degree will be introduced to the general business issues and problem solving skills that include working with employees, customers, suppliers, competitors and the business industry.
The new programs "allow [the school] to stay current with the times, offering the opportunity for students to further their education in fields with growing job opportunities," said David Champlin, president of the academic institution.
