National publishing company releases new accounting coursework

The number of individuals who are pursuing business degrees is rising, and to give these students the most advanced education, companies are releasing new course content. These organizations can help schools enhance the education they offer to future degree holders, which can better prepare them for careers in this industry.

For example, McGraw-Hill Education, a publishing company, has launched Managerial Accounting, newly released content to be used in accounting classes. Managerial Accounting features context that uses real-life companies to teach students about accounting.

This project also benefits professors who teach accounting classes by providing them with an educational tool that emphasizes managerial accounting principles by using company decisions and outcomes.

Kevin Kane, president of the organization's business and economics group, stated that "for many students, the managerial accounting course is an important part of their overall preparation for a career in business." He added that this coursework "engages these students and successfully prepares them to be leaders in the 21st century economy."

The employment of accountants and auditors is expected to increase by 22 percent during the next eight years, and this demand will create an estimated 279,400 new jobs, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.ADNFCR-3211-ID-19796794-ADNFCR
