Miami professor named top international business scholar

Prospective students who are interested in pursuing a higher education, including a degree business, can find some of the best schools in the world in America. Future degree holders may also have the opportunity to enroll in classes taught by some of the most respected professors in their field.

According to a recent study published in the International Business Review, Yadong Luo, an Emery Findley Distinguished Chair and professor of management at the University of Miami School of Business Administration, has been named the world's best international business scholar out of 50 individuals. This study also ranks the school Luo teaches at as the 20th top school in the world for international research.

The research for this publication was based on nearly 17,000 business articles published in 29 international journals between 1996 and 2008, which were written by the best researchers in the world. The ranking was decided based on the number of pages published by each author and how much impact their articles had on the business industry.

"Great business schools are measured in large part by the strength of their faculty," stated Barbara E. Kahn, dean of the university. She added that "to be recognized as the world's top scholar in international business is truly remarkable and is a testament to amazing research talent."

The average salary for those who have obtained a bachelors degree ranges from $44,113 and $86,836 per year, according to Payscale.com, a research company.ADNFCR-3211-ID-19743356-ADNFCR
