Kennesaw State University offers first American MBA degree in India

Partnerships between American and international universities may provide both schools with the opportunity expand their studies into a completely different learning environment. In fact, several degree programs in the world, including those in business, are being integrated with the curricula offered in the U.S.

Kennesaw State University's Coles College of Business recently announced the launching of an executive MBA degree program at a new Indian business school, making it the first American university to offer this opportunity. The Indian school's graduates from the Post-Graduate Program for Working Executives (PGPX) will earn certificates from the Coles College of Business.

The university plans to help the Mumbai Business School start the program and will provide funding to help with financial expenses for research, travel and development opportunities. In addition, faculty from the American academic institution will get the chance to teach in Mumbai.

W. Ken Harmon, dean of the Coles College of Business, stated that the collaboration will provide "a productive partnership that will yield benefits for both schools."

According to PayScale.com, a research company, the average annual salary of masters degree holders ranges from $49,806 to $111,836, depending on years of experience.ADNFCR-3211-ID-19737687-ADNFCR
