Executive MBA allows business employees to retain professional career

The number of students enrolling in higher education continues to rise, including individuals who are already working in various fields such as the business industry. By returning to school part-time, current professionals are able to advance their education and remain valuable to their employers.

Since earning a higher degree has become more flexible, there is a growing trend among people who already have jobs to return to school. According to a 2009 survey conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council, students who obtained executive degrees, which are part-time programs created for professionals, were the most satisfied among MBA degree holders.

Executive programs give students the opportunity to pay by course, compared to traditional degree programs which are paid by semester. This benefits those who have additional expenses, including families.

Students who enroll in executive degree programs also benefit from being able to use their skills in real-life situations, while traditional students may have to wait until after graduation to apply their skills to a job environment.

The median salary of people with masters degrees in business ranged from $49,806 to $111,836, depending on years of experience, according to PayScale.com, a research company.ADNFCR-3211-ID-19729789-ADNFCR
