Many Americans wish to return to college, but feel inhibited by the high tuition costs that are associated with continued education. However, students may qualify for scholarships, grants, student loans or federal work-study initiatives. In addition to these opportunities, many employers participate in tuition support programs.

For example, SMB Nation, a publishing and events company, and Aspen University, the first provider of the completely online MBA degree, recently announced that they will be offering a discounted MBA program for technical SMB channel partners. The online Pocket MBA degree program was designed to meet the needs of professionals who work in information technology (IT).

The advanced curriculum was inspired by executive-level business leaders. Coursework focuses on the tools that are necessary for companies to build a competitive market advantage. Graduates of the program can have the skills to become trusted advisors to their clients.

"There is a strong call to action with this market to address current changes," said Harry Brelsford, CEO and founder of SMB Nation.

"We have worked hard to put together education that is designed especially for SMB VARs by industry experts within the learned SMB Nation tribe," he added.

Many companies participate in similar programs, as educating employees may benefit the business.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that MBA degree holders have significantly lower rates of unemployment, when compared to those with less education.ADNFCR-3211-ID-19913863-ADNFCR
