Bloomberg Businessweek announces annual business school rankings

Prospective students who are interested in pursuing a business degree may consider researching several schools before deciding which one to attend. In addition to information available on academic institutions' websites, many articles are published annually that evaluate and rank the best schools in the country.

For example, Bloomberg Businessweek recently acknowledged the College of William & Mary (CWM) for its business bachelors degree program, which ranked second in its specializations in sustainability and marketing.

The list of the best undergraduate business schools is based on student surveys from more than 130 schools nationwide who were asked to rank their programs. The participants were asked to grade the schools in a variety of categories, including quantitative methods, operations management, ethics, sustainability, calculus, microeconomics, macroeconomics, accounting, financial management, marketing management, business law and corporate strategy.

Chris Adkins, director of the CWM bachelors business program, stated that "sustainability – environmental, social and economic - has inspired our learning community this year, both in the classroom and throughout the entire business school." He added that the school's high rankings "highlights how our students want to make an impact, in business and beyond."

The average salaries for individuals who have obtained bachelors degrees range between $44,113 and $86,836 per year, according to PayScale.com, a research company.ADNFCR-3211-ID-19782573-ADNFCR
