Bachelor's degree program aims to prepare students for managerial positions

Business managers have the potential to earn more than $75,000 per year, according to Payscale.com. Students who wish to make a high salary may want to consider obtaining a bachelor's degree in leadership. Fortunately, some schools are adding programs that are specifically designed for these individuals.

For instance, Ashford University recently announced it will provide a four-year degree in business leadership. This bachelor's program is aimed at students who would like to focus on learning about personnel management and supervisory positions.

Michael Reilly, director of the new program, said that this degree will equip "the business leaders of tomorrow with the leadership and human relations skills needed to more effectively move the modern organization forward." He added that enrollees will, more importantly, become "strong, effective and ethical leaders" which are essential in today's workforce.

Students who choose to take courses for this program will be prepared for management jobs in various industry, some of which include in human resources, organizational development, community relations or any other industry where a leadership role can be assumed.

Other fields in which students can find manager jobs could include in education, healthcare, engineering or manufacturing, according to Payscale.com.
